What is a Primary source?
Primary information is original and gets the main information and
feedback from people


Example
Questionnaire
Survey
What is a Secondary source?
Researching information that has already been produced
by someone else
Example:
History, Textbooks, Encyclopedia, DVD’s and Websites
What is Market Research?
The process of gathering information about the target audience to get their feedback so your products can fit their needs
Example:
Focus groups, Survey, online questionnaire
What are Quantitative results?
Are information that you get back that could be expressed in a numerical matter for instance on a graph or pie chart
Example:
Results you get then you put it on a graph
What are Qualitative results?
People’s opinions, sentences and how people feel specifically instead of ticking boxes. You get their quality information and what they are thinking.
Example:
Opinions on questions from a questionnaire, surveys that are paragraph friendly .
